Pet Cleaning and Damage
You may be aware that all our apartments are pet friendly. We find that pet owners are very responsible and organised. We ask them to obey the following guidelines:
- We would ask you not to allow your pets on the bed or other furniture.
- Unfortunately we also have to ask that you do not use the shower or bath facilities to wash or clean your pet. While this may seem an unnecessary request we have sustained significant damage in two facilities because of inappropriate decisions in this practice.
- If you need to leave your dog unattended, you need to discuss this with us before you do so.
- We expected you to pickup and dispose any excrement outside.
- If there is any problem inside or outside we have provided cleaning equipment and expect you to be the cleanup crew. If it is beyond your means then contact and discuss with us.
We do not charge this as a service as we expect that pet owners will follow our guidelines and remedy any problems. If this is not possible, we expect that we will be compensated for goods and services that are required to rectify the problem. We do this on the same basis as the cleaning:
- We document the problems with photography.
- We make you aware of the situation as soon as possible.
- We rectify the problems.
- We send you an itemised account including a fee for documenting, communications and invoicing.
- If the guests inform us, we will still charge for the costs to rectify the problem, but we will absorb the handling costs.
Pet Arrangements - Creeklands Wigan Avenue
We are happy for you to bring a pet and have them inside. We find pet owners responsible and highly organised but please remember that we do not include the cost of removing pet hair dirt or stains as part of the cleaning routine and will pass on costs if incurred .
- We would ask you not to allow them on the bed or other furniture although some guests request an exemption where they bring some rugs or other protection.
- Unfortunately we also have to ask that you do not use the shower or bath facilities to wash or clean your pet. While this may seem an unnecessary request we have sustained significant damage in two facilities because of inappropriate decisions in this practice.
- The back yard is fully fenced but not guaranteed dog proof. If you leave your dog in the back yard, we do expect you to remove any excrement and have left a suitable tool on the back veranda for this purpose.
- If you have them inside and there is an accident we expected you to pickup and dispose any excrement.
- If there is any problem inside we have provided cleaning equipment and expect you to be the cleanup crew. If it is beyond your means then contact and discuss with us.
I you need to bring multiple pets, it is imperative that you check with us first to see if the apartment is capable and we are supportive.

- If you need to leave your dog unattended, there is a dog proof area at the back of the main house. It has two friendly host kelpies. If you do want to avail yourself of this, we would prefer that you discuss it with us first if that is practicable.
- We expected you to pickup and dispose any excrement outside. If there is any problem inside we have provided cleaning equipment and expect you to be the cleanup crew. If it is beyond your means then contact and discuss with us.
